Asos

Getting started with Asos.

Site Info

ASOS is one of the biggest EU retailers there are. They use to Schockdrop (they never announce the drops) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can be on other days too. The ideal ASOS setup is to be prerunning PIDs which are loaded to drop, which you can find in your Cookgroup. It is also highly recommended to setup Quicktasks for ASOS to catch random restocks.

Accounts are required in order to run ASOS. Read the guide on how to generate them here:

Only Credit Card is supported as payment method for ASOS.

ASOS has different locales with seprated stock for every EU country, but they all ship to whole EU. This means you can ship for example from ASOS CZ to Germany. Best locales are FR, CZ, PL, IT, ES (GB and CH are different locales and DO NOT SHIP to EU)

Requirements

In the Tasks.csv file for Asos, the following fields are required to be filled in:

  • Profile: You should input your profile name from your profiles.csv

  • SKU: The SKU of the product you wish to run. Read the linked page for more info regarding multiple sku and variants.

  • Size: ASOS supports both RANDOM and specific sizing.

  • Delay: In MS. Recommended delays are around 500 to 1000ms depending on your setup

  • Proxies: The name of your .txt file. Recommended proxies are ISP and DC.

  • Email: The email of the account that the task will use

  • Password: The password of the account that the task will use

  • Store: In here you should input the ISO code of the locale you wish to run. For example, DE for Germany.

  • Currency: You can run a different currency if the locale you are running supports it. Input is GBP, EUR, USD, PLN, etc... The bot will use the default currency if its not supported.

  • Mode: The mode you wish to use. Read the linked page for more info.

  • Quantity: ASOS supports multiple quantity on some products. This won't work for multiple sku's. LEAVE EMPTY FOR HYPE PRODUCTS

  • Discount: ASOS supports discount codes on some products. You can input it here.

A template for Asos can be seen below. You can also download an example .csv here.

SKU

If you wish to get the sku of a product on Asos, you first need the Url. In this example, we get the sku of this product url: https://www.asos.com/nike/nike-air-max-97-trainers-in-triple-black/prd/14020996

Simply take the number at the end of the link and you got the sku. In this case it's 14020996

Multiple SKU's

You can also run multiple products by seperating them with ; - so for example 14020996;14020997;14020998 additionally if you want that the bot does try to add multiple sizes at once for a single product, you can just do this: 14020996;

Variants

If you want to run variants, for more efficiency, you need to put main pid in SKU field and variants in SIZE field separated with ; .

Sizing

The size schema highly depends on the region you are running. For example if you are running US or CA the bot will require US sizing format. While running GB region, the primary size schema is UK. If you are using the STORE column in your tasks.csv to overwrite the region, then that's the region which decides whatever sizing to use. If you don't use it, the COUNTRY in your profiles.csv matters.

Additionally you can now also run size ranges. The input for SIZE in tasks.csv can be 6-9 or 6;7;7.5;9 . This will also handle Adidas sizes such as 37 1/3 and 44 2/3.

Mode

NORMAL

You should run this mode on ASOS. This mode is fully ACO.

SESSION

This mode is used in order to save session for the accounts you will run. This is useful as ASOS login can go down during drops and it can get very hard to login. In order to run session mode, just run your usual tasks.csv with SESSION in the Mode field.

SLEEP

You can also run SLEEP mode in combination with NORMAL mode. In order to setup SLEEP mode, read the following section of the guide: Sleep Mode

Regions

You should be running a combiation of all EU regions in order to be able to cover regions with most stock. Best regions are: FR, CZ, PL, IT, ES

Delay and proxies

You should be running a delay of around 1000-2000ms on ASOS, combined with ISP/DC proxies, to get the optimal speeds, as that's the most important thing for this site. You can also run higher proxy:task ratio than usual, but best to check with your proxy provider.

If you are struggling to login with DC/ISP, remember that you can use residential proxies to login or generate session, and then switch to DC/ISP.

SKU Input

The best way to run for ASOS is to run single main-pid with variants in the size field. Since variants are only available once product page is up, you should run main pid if you want to prerun, and switch to variants after product page is live.

ASOS is all about speed and prerunning, so make sure to setup correctly by running pids meant to restock.

Common errors

  • Account locked: ASOS bans accounts genned with a catchall/same info some months after genning/running them. In order to solve this error just generate fresh accounts.

  • Proxy Error/Ban: This error is usually due to your proxies being banned by ASOS, but can also be due to the site being down and not returning a response. Switch proxies to see if it solves the issue.

  • Adding to cart 503: This error, as all 5XX errors, are due to the site being down in the moment you submit the request. Nothing you can do apart from having patience and waiting.
